How do you teach your child not to be ist? ?

well my husband and I treat him as if he was no gender at all. I mean...if he cries...then he cries,if he wants a truck we get him a truck, if he wants a set of polly pockets...we get him the polly pockets (this really did happen). My son does know "boy toys from girl toys" but it doesn't really matter. He plays with either. He likes girls and he likes playing with them. He also watches my husband and sees that my husband and I do the same things...we both clean the house, we both do laundry, we both change our car's oil, we both mow the lawn etc...
