How much would a registered Paint horse sell for?

I partially lease a registered Paint gelding named Poco's Wimpy Brat (Poco), I know that has Poco Bueno bloodlines, he is about 15.3 hh and is either 8 or 9 yo. He is trained in Western pleasure, can jump a little, is stubborn and somewhat of a brat. He can act up but is mostly an awesome horse, I love him to death an would like to buy him sometime soon, any idea how much he might cost? My riding teacher says that he'd cost about $1,000 or so.
