What exactly do Jews believe about Jesus? 2008 Jews.?

I have been chastised in answering a question wrongly. I thought Jews believed that Jesus has yet to come to earth, as Christians are awaiting His second coming. This really bothered me. Not cause I was apparently wrong in my answer but because something I had believed...well forever , I was apparently wrong in. God's Word says pray for Israel. I have at times wished I were Jewish (mostly as a child) because these are God's chosen people. I don't know...I just feel terrible. Could some one please set me straight. Please don't be mean.
