Do you need to go to a top school to have a chance?

right now i attend Viera high in Melbourne fl and im on the bball team,but is holy trinity worth 7-12,000 dollars a year to getting noticed.there coach has seen me play against there top players at there school and he said you should come here to play bball,so i guess he knows i can play.is that a good choice.
