Game Wardens!!?

i was out on a hunting trip after i drew a few reservations to a duck club. We had hunted our duck reservation and the next day was a non-waterfowl day. When we had finished pheasant hunting we were plucking our ducks in the parking lot and the game warden shows up starts accusing us of killing ducks on a non waterfowl day. he said " i saw two men shooting ducks this morning and they matched your discription. so he was making stuff up. then he feels the ducks and says" these ducks are awful wet to be shot yesterday" and it was raining outside!!! i think that is wrong that they can just do that. he never even asked us if we shot them that day
