I want to delete or take the msm off of my computer?

i want to know how to delete or take the msm off my computer or my cell phone,,every time i sign out of my messenger,,i get a cell phone message that i have friends on line or what ever it says ,,also the ,,i'm,,,i dont want that on my phone either,,how can i delete or take it off,,
