Clomid +IUI? I need answers..?

My Dr. told me to hold off from on Saturday onward in the hopes that tomorrow, CD13, I will have a follicle and we will do an IUI shortly thereafter. My husband has low sperm count. Is this bad? I feel like I am putting all my hopes in the possibility that I might have a follicle tomorrow. I wanted to have yesterday just in case the DR missed the timing, but my husband wanted me to hold off. When do you ovulate on Clomid? I took it CD 3-7.
