Yes that's true cause the southern states was democratic not republican. You have to understand the KKK is a extreme hate group that shouldn't be tied to any party. Where the KKK was a far left extreme group in the 1800 and 1900s they are now called a right extreme group. Why? cause most blacks support the democratic party.
