mice do not get along well enough to plan to put more than one in a cage. They get along at first, then you start noticing bites on them, until one basically kills another until only one is left. Or they die of infection. Mice also are too small for that cage. They can get out through the bars of a hamster cage.

I am going to be moving into a new apartment complex that requires separate Satellite Dish insurance?

Am moving into new apt. complex - is prewired for Comcast Cable & the apt. company pushes Comcast Cable on everybody. No other cable companies are allowed in but legally they can't keep you from getting Dish Network or DirectTV but they try to make it difficult by requiring you to get a separate rider on your renters insurance that covers the apt. complex & its residents from damages / injuries caused by the satellite dish (yeah right, I know, how is the dish going to damage or hurt anybody?) the thing is NO insurance company will add an apartment complex & all of its residents to my renters insurance policy & all of the insurance companies tell me this is a ridiculous request that is impossible to fulfill, but without this extra "insurance" the apartment complex won't allow Dish or DirectTV to be installed. So I'm thinking this is their way of making sure you have no choice but to use Comcast, perhaps they get kickbacks? How can I bust thru this monopoly?

So i have an itchy bumpy rash on my and need help....?

So its on my and back of my uppper thighs. Ive had it for several weeks i havnt used new detergent or anything. The bumps start small but slowly get bigger they arent red unless i scratch them. No puss or white head on them and its not acne either. Theyre hard bumps that dont hurt but are super itchy. Calamine lotion helps the itch for a bit but not long, sometimes the bigger bumps flake off the top when scratched but the bump stays. What the heck is this?

A key fell of my laptop keyboard?

Birthday gift or indie film?

That's a tough decision! Personally, if the trip hasn't been paid for yet, I would work on the film. Any line of work is difficult to get into at the moment and obviously the film industry is particularly competitive, so any experience would be really valuable if you want to pursue it as a career. You also might meet people during the shoot that could recommend you to another filmmaker or know of work in LA for when you move there. The trip is a lovely gift and the East Coast is beautiful at any time of year, but it will always be there for you to visit in the future. Hope that helps.

well my husband and I treat him as if he was no gender at all. Why am I so lazy? God I hate it.?

I am the laziest person in the world it feels like. I just dont do anything. Im sixteen years old and I dont have a drivers licence. I am depressed half the time and have severe anxiety. I am suffering from some really gross acne right now, I am goin to the doctor for it but it hasnt helped much. I got it back and I hate going places with acne on my face. I feel fat and ugly, I want to lose weight so bad but I cant seem to do it. My daughter got the stomach bug and won't eat anymore!?

My daughter was doing GREAT on eating baby food, like rice and gerber and all those types ever since she was about 4 months. About 2 weeks ago, she got the stomach bug, and ever since then, she gags at the sight of a spoon coming towards her. I tried to stick the food in her mouth, but she gags and then throws up. Roach bombs/foggers good or bad idea?

We just moved into a single family home exactly 1 week ago. Within 5 days we seen 1 large male and about 13 babies. These are German roaches. I never had roaches and I think that they are so disgusting. My 5 year old son has asthma and I just cant live like this. I purchased some stuff at Home Depot: Boric acid, boric acid tablets, combat platinum bait get and combat bait traps (the things that look like houses). I put this stuff all over the house. For about 1 day we started seeing more babies and the next day nothing. Well late last night my husband found a huge adult one. It didn't even run when my husband turned on the light. Natural instinct, he picked it up in a paper towel, killed it outside and tossed it. We are keeping our trashcan outside the home until these jerks are gone. We have only cooked twice in our home in one week because im afraid to accidentally leave 1 crumb, literally. We sweep and mop at night with pine sol. I use clorox wipes for all other surfaces. Since we found a big roach last night which was after 3 days of applying the roach stuff that I mentioned earlier, im wondering if maybe these jerks are smarter than I thought and are avoiding the bait or am I just being impatient? My mother told me that the only thing that works is Roach foggers but I see mixed reviews towards these. I was thinking of letting the roach bait be for 2 weeks then bomb it once a week for 1 month. Knee feeling funny?

I tore my MCL and partially my ACL on my right knee two years ago and had to wear a brace and all that junk for a while, and it had been feelin fine up until now.... It's not a really *BIG* pain, but i do feel this slight pain if i'm on my knees or anything, its kinda feels like my knee cap is sliding to the right or something, and whenever i walk it feels funny. Like me knee can't fully lock, when i kick with my left knee i can feel it lock, but i don't feel it on my right... it moves all the way, but i don't get that "lock" feeling if that makes sense. They all play significant roles in the Aeneid which is definitely a change from the Iliad and Odyssey. I was thinking about looking ate various ways women are depicted using the prominent roles. Community College Help?

Alright. So I'm a junior in high school and starting to think about college and what not and figuring tuition and costs. I want to become an RN and I know I could either get a BSN from a 4 year state school or an ADN from a community college and possibly transfer to get the BSN. My situation is if I go to a four year college it will cost a lot more and I don't want to constantly hound my parents for money while I'm in school. My sister goes to Emory and for the last four years all I've heard about was how much less money we have now and I definitely see it in our lives since she started going there. I want to know if I should go straight to the four year school and pay the extra money (likely a lot coming from my parents) or go to CC and try to pay for most of it myself or scholarships, then transfer if I can. I hope somebody can offer me some pros and cons to each and any advice is helpful. Thanks!

Common brown scorpion, right? It's been two days, and he has had no symptoms? I'm going to say at this point that it couldn't hurt to call the vet - just in case there are specific symptoms to be watching for, but it probably is ok to continue watching and waiting. Also, if at all possible, examine the cat's stool to ensure that the scorpion tail has made it through. Once it is out of his system, then you kind of have an end point for when the venom can effect him. I speak, not as a veterinarian, but as someone who has been stung by scorpions on several occasions. Once a sting occurs, the pain is pretty intense for six hours or so - at least with an external sting. After that, the pain begins to gradually lessen. How different it would be for a cat who would get stung internally, I can't say. But the thing to do is monitor Nicholas for signs of pain - reduced appetite and activity level, changes in mood and sleep habits, etc. Benedryl is one medication that has been advised by my own doctor for use after a sting, and also by my veterinarian for my cat when she had been stung on the face (children's liquid). Of course, I can't give you the correct dosage for your cat should he need some, so that would be another reason to call the vet, who might be willing to tell that over the phone.

Hi, By the sounds of your marks on the IB program you should no problem getting into any university in Canada. A B on the IB program usually translates in to high 80's on low 90's in comparison to regular Canadian high school students. For university's I would recommend Western, Laurier, Waterloo and Queen's. Car jes got a mild tune up yesterday, spark plugs, wires, air filter, oil change/filter and pcv valve. Today i noticed brown fluid in the overflow. It wasnt milky or foamy. Car has 169xxx miles on it. Its a 94 buick regal with 3.8l engine. Most vehicles today are built with a closed fuel system. If you vent the fuel tank while the vehicle is running, it could cause a variety of problems depending on the make of the vehicle. I had a Tacoma and the check engine light would come on. I found out that if I shut of the engine and opened the gas cap, pressue would escapse from the fuel tank. Then I could start it, and the light would go out. I suppose the excess pressure would cause the light to come on. I spoke to other people with Toyotas who had similar experiences.

Where are you from? I am also from another place. Came here married to an American and at first I was very nostalgic for my family. I missed my mom very much. After a while I became a mom myself and the baby became all to me. I am old now and all my kids are grown but every once in a while I still think that I would have like to have someone from my family here. I have met such wonderful people here but still you would like someone more familiar. I have friends who came from other places and have all their family here and they are constantly fighting. The mother do not speak with 2 of her daughters, or her daughters in law. I say that is a waist of time. I wish I had at least one of my sisters here. We were very close and still keep in touch but it is not the same. So I send you hugs and I hope my story helps you. You do not need a lot of friend just one good one. And it starts by saying hello and by being a friend yourself.

Flowers for a beach wedding?

I was thinking hydrangeas (blueish) or tulips (pink and orange). The bouquets are a DIY project, and I like that both blooms will be very easy to hand-tie with minimal added "stuff". Proud Father......of guppies?

Ok heres the deal, I had a 10g tank with 3 columbian sharks. They were getting big and my little brother wanted to try to feed them a guppy(female). They didnt eat her(I later learned girls are difficult to catch). She was in the tank for I dont know how long. I moved them to a 60g tank. I thought to myself "maybe the sharks arent big enough". So me and my brother decided we'd try to breed guppies(as a joke). But we said when the guppies got grown we would put them in the shark tank as food. We then went to petco and bought a boy and another girl(I know the ratio is 1:3 but we didnt have alot of money on us at the time) we put the two fish in the tank with the others. They hung around the top, we never noticed any interaction between the guppies. I came home from school one day to hear my dad tell me of how he watched the sharks eat the male guppy.I was shocked...then learned why......A week or so later I was installing hardwood floors and had to move my tank so I put the fish in a bucket with a filter....the sharks over a period of two days ate the second guppy. I could also not find the first female though. I put the tank back in place and a few days later found the guppy swimming in the tank. It had been about 3 or four more days and she disappeared again so I umed the sharks ate her. about two days ago I saw her again, next day she disappeared. Today I came home and saw 1 fry swimming around...I thought it was the sharks and I was hysterical because they are nearly impossible to breed. then I looked closely and was shocked to find it was a guppy, I called my brother and spotted another. I told my mom and found another. Me and my brother came to the conclusion that while the mom was giving birth the sharks ate her. I took the fry out and put them in a cup then set up my 10g tank. My question is(for all those who sat through the story) what all and exactly do I need to care for these fry. I am looking for sort of a guidline. I need to know everything food included. I have began to love these fry and I dont want them dead, so please be intelligent and help out.

A contractor gave me an NEC code reference to 760.130 saying this allows you to use THHN on Power Limited Fire Alarm Circuits so I looked it up and found that on the load side of the Power Limited Fire Alarm power source you can use wiring methods and materials in reference to 760.46 which addresses installation of non-power limited fire alarm circuits (high voltage) then there is a reference in 760.53 that states that multiconductor non-power limited fire alarm cables (high voltage) that meet the requirements of 760.176 shall be permited to be used on fire alarm circuits operating at 150 volts or less (which is POWER LIMITED)and shall be installed in accordance with 760.53 (A) (1), (A) (2) and (A) (3) so then we go to 760.176 and we find a chart that goes back and lists Multiconductor cables and their acceptable subsitutions which are CMP or FPLP or CMR or FPLR or CMG/Cm or FPL so the CMP, CMR and CMG/CM are commmucations wire and cables and the FPL, FPLR and FPLP are Fire Alarm Cables. FPL is general use, FPLR is riser wire able to hold it's own weight in a shaft and avoid the spread of fire up the wire and FPLP is plenum rated that meets or exceeds the other requirements and does not put off as much toxic fumes. Then you find more detailed information in 760.176(G) about the fire wire on page 70-632 so the reference for using NPLFA cables on PLFA is 760.53 as long as it meets the 760.176 but I still don't find THHN listed but apart from that I understand the comment about installing what was specified and on the case where the AHJ made them take it out the drawings clearly listed FPL, FPLR or FPLP cable and THHN was installed although I did not argue because it was for horn/strobes on that one and they would work just fine. The conduit they installed them in was EMT not ridged. It is difficult when you install a fire system with data transfer where you need the certain twists per foot (normally 12) and an engineer specifies THHN which does not meet manufacturer recomendations and ends up causing issues. Why would a contractor install THHN when FPL is less expensive and encased in a jacket already with 2 conductors and they pull it off separate spools? Just because they have it on the shelf? :-? Can you use THHN cable normally used for Non-Power limited circuits (high voltage) on Fire Alarm Systems which are Power Limited circuits (Low voltage)?

i was out on a hunting trip after i drew a few reservations to a duck club. We had hunted our duck reservation and the next day was a non-waterfowl day. When we had finished pheasant hunting we were plucking our ducks in the parking lot and the game warden shows up starts accusing us of killing ducks on a non waterfowl day. he said " i saw two men shooting ducks this morning and they matched your discription. so he was making stuff up. then he feels the ducks and says" these ducks are awful wet to be shot yesterday" and it was raining outside!!! i think that is wrong that they can just do that. he never even asked us if we shot them that day

it wont fix your depression, but it might give you some reasons to start to like yourself. but depression is a chemical thing. the exercise you would get in basic training might reverse your depression though. exercise is probably the number one way to help depression because it replaces some of the chemicals your brain is missing. if you dont feel like possibly risking your life you could just go to the gym every day. but maybe the marines would give you a purpose.

What are some UC schools that specialize in mathematics and/or various types of engineering?

Well all the UC's have the same tuition. It is just a matter of the amount of financial aid you get, which over the past few years has also gone down. Most of the UC's have all those majors. Berkeley has the best civil engineering department in the nation. Architectural engineering is not a popular major because it is more of a subfield of civil/mechanical dedicated to buildings. You could do so much more with a degree in civil or mechanical. The only school in CA that offers architectural engineering as a major is Cal Poly SLO. It never hurts to apply and you might get lucky and end up at Berkeley or UCLA!

I'm not a Heat or Bulls fan, so I couldn't care less who won the series. Anyone who watched that game with no bias can clearly see there were MANY bad calls, some to help the Bulls, but an unprecedented amount of awful calls that favored the Heat. Something needs to be done to make the game more fair. Perhaps the refs should be allowed to watch the replay footage? Perhaps they shouldn't give technical fouls just for yelling "NO!" once? The commentators watched the replay footage on many of the fouls called against the Bulls and they couldn't even help themselves from laughing at how ridiculously bad the refs were. Something needs to be done about this, but what?

I find myself praying for health just to not experience his uncaring behavior and just so that I could keep up with his needs, especially his drive. How do I configure my EMU 0202 on my Laptop so it can be the primary sound card or audio device for play back?

Hi a bit of a tech problem I recently brought a emu 0202 to hook up to my PC laptop running windows XP I brought it so I could configure my big Samson monitors and play my music through it but its going wrong. I want the 0202 to be the main audio device for audio play back I have installed all the disks and connected hardware so why is it that when I go to control panel sound and audio devices my piece of hard ware doesn't show up so i could select it it only gives the computer audio device which it comes installed with (realtek). I made a er pecan ice cream, melted the er and browned the pecans. I added it to the cream mixture when I thought it was cool enough. The er seemed to curdle or form tiny globules. The icecream is great but has small ery curds throughout. Was the butter too warm to add to the cold cream and milk mixture? I want to make it again, but want it to be smooth.
